Tassel Events brings over 15 years of burlesque expertise to every hens night and private celebration we host. Every package is tailored to your group's vibe, size and budget, so whether you want playful and giggly or glamorous and daring, we'll build the night around them.

We come to you, so if you need us for a performance, a dance workshop, or someone to run the entire party start to finish, so you get to actually enjoy it with everyone else we are here to ensure everyone is having a good time !

Our Packages

The Tassel Twirl Workshop

1.5-hour session · best for groups of 8+

The perfect way to kick off the night learn the art of the tease from one of Melbourne's top burlesque performers.

A hands on dance or burlesque dance workshop designed for total beginners. We will teach you the moves and the attitude and leave you feeling as glamourous as Dita Von Tease. Feeling nostalgic, maybe a 90s dance workshop is more your style? Finish with a lesson on Tassel Twirling and a set of pasties for the guest of honour.

Want to make it extra? Add a live performance, feather boas or fans, or request a different dance style altogether, maybe its a Boy Band party with a drag king host!

The Showstopper Package

2.5-hour session · best for groups of 15+

For the group that wants the full, decadent experience.

We bring the party to you, dance or burlesque workshops, live performance, champagne pouring showgirls or maybe a drag king to parody the groom?

Every Showstopper Package is fully customisable talk to us about building a night that's exactly right for your group.

Both packages can be tailored with add-ons, custom themes and extended run times.

  • We come to you. Tassel Events is fully mobile, we'll bring the performers, the energy and everything needed for the experience to your chosen location, whether that's a private home, an Airbnb, a hired function room or elsewhere.

  • Yes, every hens night we run is built around your group. From the dance style and music to add-ons like feather boas, fans, live performances or a themed twist, we'll tailor the details so the night suits your hen and your crew.

  • The Tassel Twirl Workshop suits groups of 8 or more, and the Showstopper Package is designed for 15+ guests. Have a smaller or larger group in mind? Get in touch,we can usually accommodate outside these numbers with a custom quote.

  • It's your party, wear what you want. No dance experience or special footwear needed: but being able to move is a good idea

  • We recommend booking sooner rather than later so we can secure the best performer for your event and date. That said, we understand plans come together fast, get in touch even for last-minute bookings and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

  • Yes, a deposit is required to secure your date. Get in touch and our team will walk you through the details.

  • We service Melbourne and surrounds. Bookings outside of metropolitan Melbourne are welcome too, with a small travel fee applied to cover our performers.
